What is First Robotics?

MechDragOur mission is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.

– First Robotics Mission Statement

First Robotics is an important and internationally recognized competition in which teams of students spend six weeks constructing game playing robots to compete in a competition. Students are given strict rules, specific timelines, and rigorous goals to complete. Our students are excited to form a First Robotics Team this year and compete in the 2015-2016 competition.

Our Team

The AISU Mechanical Dragons is a team that was formed by a group of students brought together through their passion, dedication, and commitment to STEM and FRC. We now have 18 student members, 2 staff mentors, and are currently looking for new mentors and sponsors.
