Annie Romano – Director of International Programs

She attended Boston University and Brigham Young University and graduated with a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in 2013. Before joining the international team at AISU, Annie worked at an international school in Florence, Italy. Annie is passionate about education and has worked as an Art & Art History Instructor at Legacy Preparatory Academy in North Salt Lake. Other previous work experience includes volunteer management and student coaching at the Hillsborough Education Foundation (Tampa, Florida), working with the US Department of Education through the Partnership for Public Service (Washington D.C.) as well as nonprofit consulting (Ghana, Fiji and Haiti.)

Sara Casaday – International Student Coordinator

Screen Shot 2015-09-02 at 8.08.12 PMSara Casaday joined the American International School of Utah in it’s early stages of development.  She received her BS in political science from the University of Utah.  Previously Sara worked in Washington D.C. for a United States Congressman and has many years of experience managing accounts for an advertising and marketing firm.  Sara fulfills many administrative functions and play a vital role in providing crucial services to our international study body.  Sara is a native Utahan and enjoys the beautiful outdoors. Sara has a passion for international relations and enjoys traveling the world to experience the world’s diversity.  Sara is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Marianne Judd – ESL Teacher

Screen Shot 2015-08-27 at 7.57.26 PMMarianne Judd is one of the ESL teachers at the school and teaches the Level 2 ESL class, Level 3 ESL class, and the College Preparation course for International students. She has been working with the AISU International students since the school opened and prioritizes helping students learn English, prepare for college, and understand American Culture while taking her classes. Previously Marianne worked with the English3 company to teach English as a second language to students from around the world as well as teach native English speakers Korean with the same curriculum. She spent time working for Chegg and Zinch International and helped International students successfully apply to top universities in the United States with scholarships. Marianne studied German while growing up and studied Korean while  living abroad in Asia. Marianne loves connecting languages, cultures, and dreams. She is excited about the ESL program at AISU.


Jacey Eyre – International Student Success Coach

Jacey grew up in Sandy, Utah and has always loved everything Utah has to offer. Jacey attended the University of Utah where she received a Bachelors of Science in both Psychology and Human Development and Family Studies. She is working to become a School Counselor and will start her Master’s program in Educational Psychology the Summer of 2016. Jacey has been working with a wide age range of students for 5 years now. She started out working as a Preschool Teacher at the Children’s Academy Preschool where she earned several teaching awards. Later Jacey moved onto working in a middle school where she started shadowing at Copper Mountain Middle School and then working as a Middle School Success Coach for AISU. This is Jacey’s second year here as at AISU  now and she has played a large role in developing the Success Coach position along with helping advise AISU’s HOPE Squad for the high school. This year, Jacey is extremely thrilled to be a part of the International Program and hopes to provide amazing support to all our international students.
