Señora Sticht graduated with honors from Utah State University with a BA in Spanish. She has spent time in Mexico, Spain, and Nicaragua studying language and culture. She has frequently volunteered to work with Hispanic youth, mentoring them in academic concerns, music, and drama. After four years of teaching middle and high school in Florida, she moved to Utah and taught at a local charter school. Señora Sticht also completed her MA in Education, Leadership, and Emerging Technologies with Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design, graduating with a perfect GPA. Her master’s thesis explored using iPads to streamline the verbal assessment process in the foreign language classroom. She is excited to teach AISU students about the Spanish language and the cultures of Latin America and Spain.
