In order to qualify for admission as an international student at AISU, applicants should meet the following requirements:

  1. Be between the ages of 11 to 19 years old and/or in the grades of 6 to 12 (according to US standards)
  2. Have no severe academic or disciplinary problems, as exhibited by school records, criminal records or from observable attitudes and behaviors
  3. Demonstrate the commitment to abide by all AISU school policies, rules and the national, state and local laws
  4. Demonstrate a desire to study at AISU for the purpose of academic study (HS diploma) and not solely for English language training
  5. Have the ability to pay for all tuition, fees and living expenses incurred while studying at AISU
  6. Demonstrate the commitment to follow all US Student Visa procedures and requirements
  7. Complete the AISU application procedures, including (but not limited to):
  • Complete the International Student application form
  • Send the attachments and supporting documents:                                                                                    
    • Copy of student’s current passport
    • Copy of student’s school transcripts
    • Financial documentation 
    • Copy of student’s immunization or vaccination record
    • Copy of official English exam – grade 11 and 12 applicants only 
  • Complete AISU Scholarship or Financial Aid application (if desired)
  • Interview via phone or Skype
